Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of temperature-sensitive applications, supply chain operations, requirements, and challenges within the food industry.
- Establish professional relationships with prospective customers to identify their needs and suggest suitable products and services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with large domestic customers in the New Zealand food supply chain market.
- Aid in business development activities for account management teams within defined customer segments to support our business strategy.
- Participate in bid opportunities, prepare responses, and negotiate with potential customers.
- Maintain personal customer relationships to influence opportunities and drive sales growth.
- Attend trade shows to increase visibility and present workshops to customers.
- Manage the sales cycle and maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
Requirements:
- A self-starter with a proven track record of sales success.
- Ten to fifteen years' preferred experience selling food supply chain solutions or real-time IoT services to the food Logistics/distribution or Supermarket sectors.
- Knowledge of New Zealand's food safety standards and cold chain compliance is strongly preferred.
- Capable of presenting and demonstrating the advantages of Sensitech temperature-sensitive products and real-time IoT-integrated data solutions.
- Deliver customised solutions-based presentations and product demonstrations to current customers and new business opportunities.
