We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our team at Herbert Smith Freehills, a leading law firm with a global network of offices. Key Responsibilities:
- Process expenses and disbursements into the firm's financial system with precision, ensuring compliance with ATO regulations.
- Ensure accurate data entry of invoices in a timely manner, processing daily and weekly payment runs to domestic and international suppliers.
- Investigate and resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders, sharing knowledge with team members through effective communication.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting or finance.
- Basic to Intermediate level skills with Excel, including sorting and filtering functionality, VLOOKUPs, and Pivot tables.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain Accounts Payable concepts to colleagues outside of the Business Finance team.
- 2+ years' experience processing invoices, demonstrating quick and accurate data entry.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload, adjusting for problems and roadblocks.
- Experience providing excellent customer service, considering the entire process and not just the immediate question when providing assistance.
