We are seeking experienced Support Specialists to provide high-quality care for clients with complex needs.

Job Description

As a Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to clients with high intensity level needs. This includes managing diabetes, seizure & epilepsy support, mealtime management & dysphagia, advanced manual handling, and medication administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily living support, personal care, and household tasks to clients with complex needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years' experience working with clients with high intensity needs.
  • Medication Administration Certificate and good knowledge of delegation of care models.
  • Experience working with people with diabetes, epilepsy, intellectual disabilities, mental health, dementia, and advanced manual handling supports.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
  • A current Police Check, vaccinations (including COVID), CPR, and First Aid certification, as well as the right to work in Australia.
  • Driving Licence and access to a reliable car are essential.
  • Cert III Individual Supports, Cert IV Disability, and/or Mental Health Care Qualification are expected.
