About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our Buildings Team in Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from conception through to final design and construction surveillance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Structural design of buildings, inspections, assessments, and reporting.
  • Collaborating with architects, project managers, building services, and civil engineers in multidisciplinary teams delivering iconic projects.
  • Project management and leading teams to ensure successful project delivery.

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering, 3-6 years' industry experience as a Structural Engineer, and membership of Engineers Australia. You will have experience utilising a broad range of skills across various types of buildings and materials, and comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards.
