Job Title: Senior Structural Designer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team as a Senior Structural Designer.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical design leadership and exercising independent judgment with minimal direction from management. You will conceptualize and finalize engineering designs, resolving technical conflicts and managing structural design efforts for multiple projects. Additionally, you will develop engineering drawings and documents, generate technical solutions to complex problems, and perform design calculations using computer-aided design equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical design leadership and exercise independent judgment with minimal direction from management.
  • Conceptualize and finalize engineering designs, resolving technical conflicts and managing structural design efforts for multiple projects.
  • Develop engineering drawings and documents, generate technical solutions to complex problems, and perform design calculations using computer-aided design equipment.
  • Participate in project meetings, act as structural team lead, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Monitor budgets and schedules, perform field work, and observe construction activities.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an ABET-accredited Civil or Structural Engineering program.
  • Possess or be on track to obtain a Professional Engineer license within 6 months.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in high-seismic areas is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with other engineers and designers.
  • Proficient in structural design software, such as Autodesk Revit, Risa 3D, and SAP2000.
