About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Return to Work Manager to lead our team in creating supportive and successful pathways for employees returning to the workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage high-volume workers compensation claims, ensuring timely and efficient case management and rehabilitation.
  • Develop and implement effective case management plans, monitoring costs and outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on workers compensation matters, including accident/incident investigations and risk assessments.
  • Assist in determining cover and entitlements, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and case law.
  • Collaborate with managers and staff to promote a safe and healthy work environment, and to prevent workplace injuries.
  • Provide support and advice on workers compensation matters, including the Return-to-Work Process and the Affinity Safety Alert System.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in workers compensation and return to work management.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of workers compensation legislation and processes.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage high-volume claims, with a focus on early intervention and return to work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and managers.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of workers compensation legislations, processes, and management of common law claims.
