The position of Senior Indigenous Engagement Director at Ayers Rock Resort offers an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated leader to make a lasting impact on the lives of Indigenous Australians.

As the key stakeholder manager, you will be responsible for developing, leading, and coordinating the Real Jobs, Employment Pathways, and Education Pathways Programs that provide activities and opportunities for Anangu residing in the NPY region.

This role requires strategic leadership to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for both Anangu and Voyages by facilitating culturally safe access to employment, education, and social and economic advantages.

You will establish, maintain, and grow effective working relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally to deliver strategic outcomes to Anangu through programs in the Indigenous Engagement portfolio.

A critical aspect of this role is designing and delivering programs that deliver mutually beneficial outcomes to Voyages and Aṉangu through funded programs, including budget management, compliance, and reporting to funding bodies and the Voyages Board.

In addition, you will provide operational leadership for the Anangu Communities Foundation (ACF), including increasing its profile, reviewing applications, and reporting to the ACF Board.

The ideal candidate will possess over a decade of experience collaborating with Aboriginal communities in remote Australia, have outstanding stakeholder management abilities, and be skilled in managing projects and programs while delivering results across diverse settings.

To succeed in this role, you will require a current Working with Children's Check or ability to obtain one as well as a valid Open Australian Drivers License.
