Job Title:

Emergency Medicine Trainee

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Emergency Medicine Trainee to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for assessing and treating presentations under supervision from senior doctors.

About the Role:

  • Assess and manage multiple patients under supervision of seniors
  • Prioritise a set of decisions/tasks/referrals for multiple patients
  • Communicate clearly and accurately with patients and colleagues
  • Lead by being a positive role model to junior staff
  • Direct immediate and future learning, informed with reflective practice and role model influences
  • Take responsibility for self-directed learning and participating in departmental teaching to further clinical knowledge and skills
  • Teach junior staff the clinical skills expected of a novice clinician

Requirements:

  • General registration with APHRA
  • Valid ACLS/APLS certificates
  • TS3/4 trainee with ACEM
