Key Role in Employment Support

We are seeking an experienced Employment Support Specialist to provide workplace support to individuals with disability, working with employers to find flexible and innovative solutions.

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong understanding of the challenges individuals with disabilities may face when commencing new employment.

You will have a strong ability to support both our customers in work and their employers, to ensure sustainable employment whilst also sourcing future vacancies for ongoing placements.

The primary focus of this role is to enhance long-term and sustainable employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities.

As part of this role, you will work closely with customers and employers to identify opportunities for growth and development, and implement strategies to achieve these goals.

This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities, by providing tailored support and guidance to help them achieve their employment goals.

  • People person with excellent communication skills
  • Sales/customer service background with experience in working with vulnerable populations
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with customers and employers
  • Disability or DES experience advantageous but not essential
  • Organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Strong problem-solving ability with conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • Awareness of vulnerabilities to employment and willingness to obtain relevant checks
