About the Role:

We are seeking a Support Practitioner to play a vital role in our team. As a Support Practitioner, you will provide high-quality support to children, young people, and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.

  • This involves establishing and building rapport with individuals, providing flexible, in-home and culturally inclusive care, and liaising comfortably with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support Provision: Provide high-quality support to children, young people, and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  2. Rapport Building: Establish and build rapport with individuals, fostering strong relationships that promote trust and understanding.
  3. Culturally Inclusive Care: Provide flexible, in-home and culturally inclusive care that meets the unique needs of each individual or family.
  4. Liaison: Liaise comfortably with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, service providers, and community members.
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: A degree in social work, psychology, or a related discipline.
  2. Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in care services to children, young people, and their families.
  3. Skills: Demonstrated experience in providing training to carers and applying assessment and intervention skills.
