Key Responsibilities:
  • We develop and maintain strong relationships with scientists and researchers who use mass spectrometry products to advance their work.
  • We provide technical support, conduct customer demonstrations, and offer direct customer support on-site and off-site to ensure the successful implementation of our solutions.
  • We manage customer instrument demonstration requests, perform demonstrations, and provide comprehensive reports to help customers make informed decisions.
  • We collaborate with sales colleagues, product specialists, and other relevant parties to coordinate customer demonstrations and ensure seamless execution.
  • We monitor LC-MS and related equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and assist with experimental design to optimize customer outcomes.
  • We support Product Specialists in critical sales situations, provide training for customers on instrument installations, and gather VOC information to inform future product development.
  • We present scientific or technical posters and presentations at conferences and events, collaborate with team members, and resolve customer issues to deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A PhD in biochemistry or a relevant field is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in LC-MS, including understanding of LC-MS in specific markets and strong analytical skills.
  • Expertise in various chromatographic and sample preparation software tools, proficiency in operating multiple LC/MS platforms, and ability to operate, install, and maintain Thermo Fisher Scientific LC/MS platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, willingness to travel up to 40%, and high motivation, self-organization, and commitment are essential.
