Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Overview: The maintenance supervisor will lead and supervise a team of skilled tradespeople responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations at our Eastern Creek site. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can manage resources, develop daily maintenance plans and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of fitters responsible for fixed plant maintenance
  • Develop and coordinate daily maintenance plans in collaboration with the maintenance planner
  • Oversee purchasing of consumables and inventory parts
  • Allocate resources and manage workloads to meet operational demands
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
  • Liaise with stakeholders across operations, electrical and engineering teams

Requirements:

  • Proven supervisory experience within a large industrial or processing facility
  • Relevant trade or technical qualification (e.g. Fitter, Boilermaker or Engineering background)
  • Strong knowledge of fixed plant equipment
  • Strong computer skills (experience using JDE and Coupa systems is a plus)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong safety focus and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
