Production Refinery Trainer Job Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training and assessing competency in a production refinery setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver theory and practical training assessments to meet the required standards.
  • Conduct process plant inductions to ensure new employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Work closely with crew supervisors to conduct training needs analyses and develop tailored training packages that meet the specific needs of the team.
  • Maintain and manage area skills learning paths, including monitoring optimal training levels and recording progress.
  • Hold regular review meetings to discuss progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the on-boarding process for new process operators by working closely with relevant supervisors.
Requirements:
  • A high level of health, safety, and environmental awareness is essential.
  • Demonstrated recent experience in delivering training in a minerals processing or refining operation and associated current qualifications.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
  • Sound computer literacy with basic level skills in MS Office and proficiency in using Oracle.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessing (TAE40116) or currently working towards.
  • High Risk Licence and WA 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
