Job Title: Underground Training Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Underground Training Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to underground mining operators and ensuring they have the skills and competencies required to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
About the Role:
- You will work closely with site leadership and trainers to identify training needs and develop plans to address required competencies.
- You will coordinate training for new employees and ensure effective delivery of training programs.
- You will analyze underground mobile equipment performance data to identify variability in operator capability and performance.
- You will facilitate training plans for existing operators to maintain skills and address skills gaps.
- You will liaise with site leadership and trainers on training needs and logistics.
Requirements:
- A current and valid Australian driver's license.
- The right to work in Australia.
- A solid history of reliability and good work ethic.
- Experience in underground service crew/paste crew work.
- Experience as a leading hand is highly regarded.
- A proactive attitude toward safety and hazard identification.
