Responsibilities

As a Training Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering training programs to new team members, ensuring their safety and success. You will also have the opportunity to identify additional training for existing team members to drive continuous improvements.

  • Prepare training documentation and help implement the coaching of site leaders on their training responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure site leadership are maintaining accurate records
  • Support with coordination of all site induction programs and ensure that all new team members are compliant in line with the training matrix
  • Continually monitor and update training materials, accounting for seasonal activities
  • Be a champion for safety on site being available for consultancy and drive a positive culture for team members
  • Monitor and govern the site training matrix
Qualifications

We're looking for someone who has a passion for coaching and developing, and who can deliver important training materials in an engaging way. You will also need:

  • Coaching and leadership experience is essential
  • Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment required
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing training needs and the ability to develop an annual training plan
  • Ability to create, implement, and review training programs for warehouse, transport and administration teams
  • Have a high level of organisational skills with a focus on planning, ensuring key deadlines are met
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, being able to manage expectations to senior management
  • Advanced computer skills with the ability to produce materials and develop training information
