System Architect Position

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement system architecture for new or existing computer systems.
  • Manage the configuration and operation of computer systems, including resolving network issues and updating equipment and software.
  • Provide technical support in managing networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot complex system hardware and software issues.
  • Train end users on the proper use of hardware and software.
  • Perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
  • Monitor and fine-tune systems to achieve optimal performance levels.
  • Ensure workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions.
  • Implement a schedule of system backups and database archive operations to ensure data/media recoverability.
  • Conduct hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
  • Ensure that the performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users.
  • May evaluate existing systems and assist with planning long-term strategies.
  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.

IAT Level II cert required
CompTIA Security+ CE

Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent + 19 Years Experience
Bachelor's Degree + 14 Yearsexperience
