Fire Protection Systems Specialist

Job Title:
A Fire Protection Systems Specialist is required to join our team.
Inspect, test, and maintain fire systems and infrastructure per industry standards.
Perform repairs and install fire systems and infrastructure.
Program fire alarm systems.
Coordinate life safety system impairments with operational personnel.
Maintain current knowledge of facilities infrastructure and systems.
Inspect fire extinguishers.
Train site incident response personnel on life safety systems.
Carry out regular maintenance tasks for fire alarm equipment.
Identify deficiencies in fire systems and recommend solutions.
Collaborate with the Facilities Operations Team and other departments to ensure reliable system operation.
- NICET II or III – Fire Alarm Systems
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and EHS policies
- Experience in Facility Maintenance or similar technical environment
- Knowledge of electrical infrastructure and electronic equipment terminology
- Understanding of facilities equipment and O&M requirements
- NICET I or II - Fire Special Hazards
- NICET I or II - Water Based Systems Inspection and Testing
- Experience with fire alarm systems
- Trade qualification
- ERP experience (SAP, Archibus)
