We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mining Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely medium and short term mine planning systems and processes to enable the business to meet its contractual production targets in a cost effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement mine plans that align with business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve overall project performance
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mining engineering
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a technical discipline at an open pit mining environment
  • Sound understanding of mine operation, drill & blast, planning and scheduling
  • Thorough understanding of open cut mining methods
  • Strong mining software experience as well as the Microsoft Office suite
  • Able to demonstrate effective performance in achieving agreed HSE goals
