About the role

We're seeking an experienced Mining Engineer to join our team as we progress the next phase of the Youanmi Gold Project. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimisation of development designs, stope drill/blast designs and coordination of daily mine production activities to achieve schedules and targets. This is an exciting time to join the Rox team as we realise the "big".

What you'll do

  • Assist the Underground Manager in setting up the mining infrastructure;
  • Complete underground development design, ensuring planning and scheduling for weekly, monthly and quarterly activities;
  • Provide technical support (research and advice) to mining operations;
  • Monitor daily and weekly priorities and targets;
  • Undertake coordination of underground projects and support operational activities, including early works for project site setup.

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering;
  • Demonstrated understanding of mine planning, scheduling, and production in underground environments;
  • Knowledge of mine ventilation;
  • Proficient in Deswik mine design and scheduling software;
  • Expert planner and problem-solver – proactive and thinks "outside the box".

Location & team

This role is based at our Youanmi Gold Project working an 8:6 day roster with regular visits to our West Perth Office. You will work with a small but growing team of passionate, seasoned mining professionals who value trust, collaboration, and results.
