About the Role
As a Planner, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our large-scale commercial and mining infrastructure projects by developing, maintaining, and optimising project schedules from inception to completion. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, Engineers, and external stakeholders, you will ensure that all phases of the project are accurately planned, resources are effectively allocated, and project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities

- Preparing and maintaining baseline schedules and integrating subcontractor and supplier schedules into the master program.
- Preparing progress and forecast reports for internal and external stakeholders, including visual dashboards, S-curves, and key metrics.
- Collaborating with the commercial and contracts teams to link schedule impacts with cost and contractual obligations.
- Ensuring schedule compliance with contractual requirements, industry standards, and client reporting protocols.
- Maintaining organised planning records, including updates, approvals, and change logs.
- Contributing to project budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate time-based resourcing data.
Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years' experience as a Planner, Scheduler, or in a similar project controls role on large commercial, mining, or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in developing and managing complex project schedules across multiple phases.
- Strong capability with P6 planning and scheduling software
- Experience integrating subcontractor schedules and managing multiple workfronts.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, scopes of work, and contractual requirements to inform schedule development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical, data-driven recommendations.
- Solid understanding of project controls, earned value management, and schedule risk analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse project teams.
