">Collaboration with the national network is essential to shape capability and strategic direction of perioperative services.
">The ideal candidate will possess current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA), recent experience as a Floor Coordinator, Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), POSM or Theatre Educator, and extended practice informed by evidence-based methodologies.
">A strong working knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, advanced clinical expertise, and skills, along with effective team contribution, mentorship, and adept problem-solving abilities, are also required.
">Key attributes include high level communication, liaison, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, as well as a proven record of professional leadership, effective team contribution, and adept problem-solving abilities.
">Additional desirable skills include working towards or post graduate qualification in Perioperative specialisation, health services management, or quality and risk.
">Successful candidates will be able to lead and operate both independently and collaboratively within team-based consultative roles, upholding clinical excellence and professionalism.
