**Fulltime, Temporary (4 years)**

The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences sits at the intersection of art, design, science and technology and plays a critical role in engaging communities with contemporary ideas and issues. The Associate Director, First Nations is a newly created senior role that will position the museum as a cultural leader through operational planning and the organisational implementation of cultural competency.

Collaborating across the museum, you will implement operational strategy, policy, governance, accountability and change to deliver the framework set by the Director, First Nations. You will have extensive experience in implementing First Nations perspectives and protocols and demonstrated experience in establishing and sustaining strong organisational and community networks, setting a new benchmark in self-determination, cultural competency and capacity.
