Australia’s healthcare sector seeks a visionary leader to drive the development and maintenance of national standards for healthcare improvement.

This is a key leadership role that demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to manage high-performing teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the creation and upkeep of national standards in line with the strategic plan.
  • Effectively oversee accreditation schemes.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with government and non-government stakeholders.
  • Provide executive briefings on program progress and strategic implications.
  • Manage team supervision, coaching, and performance management to ensure deliverables are met to time and quality.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of Australia's healthcare system, including standards development and implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound judgement and innovative approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with government and non-government stakeholders.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including ability to prepare briefing documents and explain complex issues clearly.

This is a hybrid model position requiring regular weekly presence in an office (Sydney) and working from home where operationally feasible.
