Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on industrial relations principles and frameworks, ensuring accurate interpretation and application of legislation and employment law.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform problem-solving, analysis, and review of complex employment issues.
  • Develop and implement employment policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with University values and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and improve employment and workplace policies, procedures, and frameworks.
  • Manage competing demands and solve complex problems, ensuring timely and effective resolution of employment-related issues.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of federal employment legislation, case law, and ability to accurately interpret and apply legislation and employment law.
  • Experience working with industrial relations principles and frameworks.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
