Job Title:Health, Safety and Environment Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) specialist to support our operations across multiple sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with plant and operations managers to embed safe systems of work across sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Plant and Operations Managers to implement and maintain safe systems of work.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Provide coaching, training and support to line leaders and employees on safety practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Lead site audits, inspections, and reporting to meet compliance and business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an HSE role, ideally within manufacturing or a similar high-risk industry.
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation, standards, and risk management.
  • Ability to influence and engage at all levels, from shopfloor through to senior leadership.
  • Practical, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
