About the Role:
Mossop Construction + Interiors is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to lead our safety and environmental initiatives across diverse and high-profile projects.
Reporting to the Director of Construction, you will play a key role in fostering a safe, compliant and sustainable work environment.
This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives on collaboration and wants to make a tangible impact on safety culture and outcomes.
Duties include:
Develop, implement and continuously improve HSE systems, policies and procedures.
Provide expert advice and support to project teams across tender, design, and delivery phases.
Lead safety training, site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company objectives.
Manage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
Represent Mossop at industry forums and regulatory audits.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental management.
About You:
Tertiary qualifications in Health, Safety & Environment (or related field).
Minimum 5 years' HSE management experience in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice and industry standards.
Proven leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive approach with the ability to influence positive safety behaviours.
Role Requirements:
National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
White Card
Working with Children 9or willing to obtain)
Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
As our people are required to attend government, health and education facilities and construction sites, it is a condition of employment for this role, that the ability to pass a pre-employment medical, background police check and working with children clearance is adhered to.
