Safety Systems Specialist Role

The role of a Safety Systems Specialist involves driving excellence in health, safety, and environmental management by implementing proactive measures. A forward-thinking leader will oversee the administration and continuous improvement of our Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (HSEMS). Ensuring our digital platforms and support systems meet evolving business needs is crucial to this vital role.

As a senior member of our HSE team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of HSE documentation, including the Health and Safety Legal Compliance Register. You will provide expert advice on HSE management systems, championing continual improvement initiatives that align with strategic objectives.

We are looking for an experienced HSE professional who is passionate about making a real impact. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications at degree or associate diploma in quality, health and safety or environment.
  • Accredited H&S or E auditor qualification level or equivalent.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of the requirements of WHS and/or environmental legislation, relevant Codes of Practice, Australian and international Standards and Guidelines.
  • Expertise in WHS management systems, Environmental management systems, and Risk Management principles.
