Health and Safety Professionals play a crucial role in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees. As an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional, you will be responsible for supporting our organization's WHS function across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident Reporting and Investigations: You will be responsible for investigating incidents, reporting them to management, and implementing corrective actions to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
  • Workplace Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
  • Documentation and Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of WHS documentation, ensuring that all necessary information is easily accessible.
  • Training and Inductions: Coordinate and deliver WHS training and inductions to employees and contractors, promoting a strong safety culture within the organization.
  • Day-to-Day Support: Provide day-to-day support and advice to operational teams on WHS-related matters, ensuring that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.
  • Safety Awareness and Improvement: Promote a positive safety culture by encouraging employees to identify and report potential hazards, and continuously improving our safety management system.

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of WHS principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trust with your colleagues. A minimum Cert IV in WHS or equivalent experience is required, as well as 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
