Key Role: Strategic People Initiatives

As a vital member of our organization, you will play a key role in driving strategic people initiatives and delivering tailored solutions aligned to business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Partner with senior leaders to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Deliver tailored solutions aligned to business objectives.
  • Lead and support change management, organizational design, and workforce planning.
  • Coach and support leaders on performance, engagement, and development.
  • Collaborate with specialists in People & Culture, Finance, Communications, and IT to deliver end-to-end initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and industrial relations frameworks.
  • Contribute to national and global People & Culture programs and projects.
  • Provide advice on complex employee relations matters.
  • Champion company values and a high-performance culture.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a senior HR Advisor or People & Culture Business Partner.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in fast-paced, complex environments (defence or similar ideal).
  • Sound knowledge of employment law and industrial relations.
  • Ability to balance strategy with day-to-day delivery.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (desirable).
Essential Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field.
  • Australian citizenship.
  • Resilience, professionalism, and a proactive mindset.
  • A passion for culture, people development, and business impact.
