Role Overview

Our team requires a seasoned leader to oversee underground mining operations.

This critical role involves executing daily and weekly plans, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols and environmental regulations.

The successful candidate will enjoy paid accommodation while working on a designated roster.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clarify tasks, identify improvements, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate 24-hour plans to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in decision-making for plan variations.
  • Manage performance, enforcing work standards and behavior.
  • Accurately complete shift reports.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Underground Longwall Mining.
  • Certificate of competency as Undermanager or equivalent qualification.
  • Desirable: 10 years' industry experience, operational management, and demonstrated leadership capability.
