About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to support our Underground Mining Operations by performing vital maintenance work on underground mining equipment.

The successful candidate will be based in Narrabri, NSW and have the opportunity for relocation assistance if needed.

You will work collaboratively with our team to maintain plant availability through inspections, fault finding, diagnosis, and remediation actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs and preventative maintenance work on underground mining equipment
  • Maintain plant availability through inspections, fault finding, diagnosis, and remediation actions.
  • Report on defects and update maintenance and production logs
  • Complete planned and routine maintenance as per schedule.
  • Provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability.
What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification
  • Minimum 12-months experience working in an underground mine
  • Experience working on mining or heavy earthmoving machinery
  • Must demonstrate a personal commitment to safety
  • Ability to work rotating shifts – day, night and afternoon
