Underground Mining Operations Manager

As a key team member in our underground shift crew, the Underground Mining Operations Manager provides strategic leadership and direction in all planned mining activities.

The successful incumbent will support daily and weekly plans to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

  • Initiate improvements, work independently, and coordinate with peers to clarify tasks.
  • Communicate 24-hour plans to relevant parties and provide assistance for varying the plan as needed.
  • Manage shift personnel, enforce standards of work, and ensure accurate completion of shift reports.

This role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in Underground Longwall Mining and a certificate of competency as Underground Mining Operations Manager or equivalent qualification.

A proven track record in operational management and demonstrated leadership capability are essential.
