Key Responsibilities:
  • Elevate tasks, initiate improvements, and work with minimal supervision
  • Distribute and communicate 24-hour plans to relevant parties on shift
  • Assist senior personnel in making informed decisions when necessary
  • Oversee shift personnel performance and enforce standards of work and behaviour
  • Accurately document shift reports
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Underground Longwall Mining
  • Holder of a certificate of competency as Undermanager or equivalent qualification
  • Desired Minimum of 10 years' experience in the mining industry
  • Demonstrated operational management capability at senior level
  • Proven leadership and management expertise
