About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a strategic HR leader, overseeing the national routine Human Resources functions.

This role will involve:

  • Leading routine Human Resources (HR) functions nationally including recruitment, learning and development, performance management, compensation, employee relations and HR policies and practices.
  • Providing advice on human resources issues including relevant legislation, recruitment, learning and development, retention, performance and wellbeing.
  • Developing initiatives to enhance organisational culture that aligns with the company values and improves talent identification and retention.
  • Designing and implementing a best practice human resource business partnering service.
Professional Requirements

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources or other relevant field is essential. Active affiliation with Human Resources networks and organisations is also required. Training in organisational change management, leadership, coaching or cultural alignment would be beneficial.

Experience and Sector Exposure

The ideal candidate will have exposure to the professional services industry and fast-growing businesses operating in a highly competitive market. A minimum of seven years of progressive leadership experience in HR management positions is necessary.

Accountabilities & ResponsibilitiesLearning & Development

Develop a learning and development strategy aligned with the business plan. Design and implement employee training programs. Identify and support employee opportunities for external professional development.

Performance Management

Foster a high-performance culture. Oversee the annual cycle of goal setting and performance review and feedback. Promote a collaborative environment for continuous improvement of team performance and compliance.

Recruitment

Manage the recruitment process for all roles nationally. Ensure standard employment agreements are regularly reviewed and updated. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the skills and competencies required for all open roles.
