The role of the Strategic HR Leader is pivotal in driving organisational success by spearheading people-centric services.

Job Overview

This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities aimed at delivering high-quality, strategic HR support to senior leadership and teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters.
  • Lead and mentor HR teams to ensure effective delivery of HR services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end recruitment processes, designing frameworks that drive performance excellence, and promoting a culture of continuous feedback and development.

They will also lead initiatives related to workforce planning, succession planning, and capability development, manage employee relations issues, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

In addition, they will oversee the selection, implementation, and ongoing use of HR systems, develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, and monitor HR metrics to provide insights to support decision-making.

Furthermore, they will lead employee engagement surveys and action planning, support wellbeing and recognition programs, and promote a safe work environment through proactive risk management and safety initiatives.

Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a senior HR role with broad generalist responsibilities, tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field, and strong knowledge of employment legislation and industrial relations.
