Job Opportunity
In this challenging role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a significant infrastructure safety improvement initiative for the Bruce Highway. The Australian and Queensland governments have jointly committed a substantial investment in the highway, marking the largest single investment to date.

  • The position requires expertise in engineering principles, with a focus on reducing crash severity and frequency, particularly between Gympie and Cairns.
  • You will work as part of a team to design and implement measures such as wide centre line treatments, audio tactile line marking, intersection upgrades, rest areas, pavement strengthening, overtaking lanes, and upgrades to narrow structures.

The successful candidate will be a registered professional engineer with annual compensation and the opportunity to be part of an exciting project that aims to reduce crashes and improve road safety.
