Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with 8+ years' experience, RPEQ accreditation and strong knowledge of TMR design requirements to join our Transport team in Cairns.

About This Role

This role is ideal for experienced engineers who want to leverage their skills in road infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting design delivery, contributing to proposal preparation and driving quality outcomes through technical review and mentoring junior team members.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and support design delivery for road infrastructure projects in line with TMR guidelines.
  • Contribute to proposal preparation and business development efforts.
  • Drive quality outcomes through technical review and mentorship of junior team members.
  • Evaluate and enhance client experience and team collaboration through effective communication.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to shape the strategic direction of projects.
Key Requirements
  • 8+ years' experience in civil engineering with a focus on roads and highways.
  • RPEQ accreditation - essential.
  • Proven capability in TMR project delivery from planning to detailed design.
  • A collaborative mindset and passion for solving complex infrastructure challenges.
  • Experience leading design teams or mentoring others highly regarded.
