Job Opportunity: Work Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Work Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management of work orders from start to finish.

Main Responsibilities:

  • The primary duty of this position is to coordinate and direct field staff in order to ensure that all work orders are completed efficiently and within regulatory time frames.
  • Effective workforce scheduling, planning, and allocation are key aspects of this role, which involves utilizing Excel and other relevant systems.
  • The Work Coordinator must conduct regular outbound calls to customers and other parties in order to communicate effectively.
  • A significant part of this job involves gathering and consolidating data from clients in order to plan and allocate work orders.
  • The person in this position is also responsible for managing field resource leave requests to ensure adequate resourcing at all times.
  • This role requires working closely with Service Stream and client systems and databases.
  • The Work Coordinator must guarantee that all work performed meets contractual quality and safety requirements as per company standards and customer expectations.
  • Additional duties may be assigned by Team Leader/Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months experience in work order management and scheduling.
  • Prior knowledge of the electricity industry in Australia is an advantage.
  • Candidates should possess professional communication skills when interacting with customers and clients.
  • Basic to medium competency level using MS Office suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • High attention to detail.
