Project Finance Expert

The role of Project Finance Director requires a high degree of expertise in originating and executing transactions, leading the credit submission process, and building relationships across the market. As a key member of the team, you will play a central role in structuring and executing project finance deals, focusing on renewables and infrastructure.

This is a hands-on position that demands deep knowledge of project finance, commercial acumen, and the ability to lead transactions from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in project finance, with a strong track record of successful deal execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate and execute project finance transactions, focusing on renewables and infrastructure.
  • Lead the credit submission process, including financial modeling, risk analysis, and internal approvals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, advisors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project finance, with significant exposure to the Australian renewables sector.
  • Established network within the Australian project finance market.
  • Proven ability to lead complex transactions and generate compelling pitch materials.
  • Excellent financial modeling, credit analysis, and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and risk management capabilities.
