Job Overview
The Disability Support Worker role involves providing community and social support to clients with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer personal care and support to clients in their homes and within the community.
- Assist clients with daily living tasks and activities.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Accurately document client progress and needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve optimal client outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the NDIS framework and participant support requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Manual Handling Certificate.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Comprehensive Car Insurance.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- Working with Children Check.
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination.
- Legal working rights in Australia.
