We are seeking experienced Personal Care Assistants to join our care team at a residential aged care home in a casual basis.

The Successful Candidate

">

The successful candidates will join our dynamic and supportive care team and provide competent personal care, support and assistance to all residents under the direction and guidance of the senior clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Provide personal care to assist residents to maintain independence and dignity with respect to activities of daily living and lifestyle.
  • Attend to meal delivery and refreshments as required.
  • Record observations on relevant assessment charts and documents any observed exceptions to the care plan in the progress notes; and reports such to the EN/RN.
  • Check residents daily menu requirements.
  • Attend to duties as allocated and or delegated by the RN/EN, including general ward duties.

Requirements:

  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
  • NDIS check (or ability to acquire).
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in residential aged care.
