Workday HCM Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Workday professional to join our team as a Workday HCM Analyst. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in configuring and enhancing Workday across core modules including Human Capital Management (HCM), Absence, Recruitment, Performance, and Talent Management.

This position requires an individual with proven experience in supporting and configuring Workday HCM modules. The ideal candidate should possess strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in large, complex environments.

About the Role

The Workday HCM Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Configuring and supporting Workday HCM modules
  • Providing Workday system support via the ticketing system, including ticket prioritisation, resolution development, testing and communication back to end users
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather business requirements, troubleshoot issues, develop functional specifications for system fixes and enhancements and implement solutions
  • Participating in continued Workday feature release updates, assessing impacts to the business and executing system testing
  • Developing and maintaining clear system documentation, including process flows and configuration guides
Requirements
  • Proven experience in supporting and configuring Workday HCM modules
  • Knowledge of HR business processes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in large, complex environments
  • Collaborative team player with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
