About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner/Business Analyst to join our team at Motorola Solutions. As a Product Owner/Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business results through innovative thinking and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Analysis: Utilize analytical, statistical, and business skills to understand business processes and document requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Interpret existing processes and uncover insights to form business decisions in areas such as offer management, marketing, sales, and services.
  • Business Acumen: Apply learned concepts, business acumen, customer/user insights to real business problems.
  • Data Analysis: Use industry tools like Excel, SQL, and Tableau to analyze large real-world data sets.
  • Communication: Create data dashboards and various data visualizations to communicate insights.
  • Technical Competencies: Have a wide range of technical competencies including statistics and coding languages, databases, machine learning, and reporting technologies.
  • Leadership: Lead and drive data-based initiatives to gain insights and put our business ahead of competitors.
Requirements
  • Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of industry standards and security best practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and solve for blockers with minimal guidance.
  • Independence: Strong bias for action and ability to work independently toward goals.
  • Analytical Skills: Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyze complex requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at various levels.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Product Management Experience: Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex software products or solutions.
  • User Experience: Familiarity with user experience (UX).
  • Agile Development: Previous experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in an agile development environment.
