Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Owner to support the definition, prioritization, development, and release of new products, as well as the enhancement and championing of improvements to existing products. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, a track record of managing successful technical products, and a good understanding of engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clearly articulate the product vision and mission
  • Create structured epics and user stories to communicate desired functionality
  • Work with Engineering, QA, and application teams to refine the backlog
  • Deliver and support business and system analysis
  • Provide the crucial link between customers, Product management, and Engineering
  • Assess the benefits and risks of various solutions
  • Coordinate product delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs
  • Assist with prioritization of competing business demands
  • Participate in release and strategic planning
  • Provide end of sprint, release, and benefits realization reporting
Requirements
  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles and best practices
  • SAFe Agilist certificate is a plus
  • Ability to review functional/technical specification documentation
  • Experience with Jira, Rally, and/or other project management solutions
  • Track record in working on the delivery of complex deployment projects
  • Strong business sense with good understanding in how IT systems impact business objectives
  • Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent team player with ability to work under minimal supervision
