Our client, a global banking leader, is undergoing a digital transformation, and we're seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Technical Product Owner. This role will support the definition, prioritization, development, and release of new products, as well as enhance and champion improvements to existing products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Vision and Mission: Clearly articulate the product vision and mission, creating structured epics and user stories to communicate desired functionality and collaborate with Engineering, QA, and application teams to refine the backlog.
  • Requirements Elicitation: Work with Product Management, Engineers, Architecture, and Business Stakeholders to elicit high-level requirements and capture business/customer needs.
  • Business and System Analysis: Deliver and support business and system analysis, providing the crucial link between customers, Product management, and Engineering to ensure product enhancement requests are understood and delivered according to schedule.
  • Solution Assessment: Assess the benefits and risks of various solutions, obtaining key inputs from Engineering and architecture/platform teams to identify solution inter-dependencies.
  • Product Delivery: Coordinate product delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions.
  • Prioritization and Planning: Assist with prioritization of competing business demands as aligned to our outcomes and OKRs, participating in release and strategic planning.
  • Reporting and Consultancy: Provide end of sprint, release, and benefits realization reporting, as well as professional consultancy for application teams' queries/requests.
Requirements
  • Education: University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Agile/Scrum Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles and best practices, with SAFe Agilist certificate a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to review functional/technical specification documentation, experience with Jira, Rally, and/or other project management solutions, and a track record of working on complex deployment projects.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business sense with a good understanding of how IT systems impact business objectives, as well as strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills.
  • Teamwork: Excellent team player with the ability to work under minimal supervision, and knowledge or experience in Cloud technologies adoption such as AWS/Azure/GCP.
