Program Details
  • The 12-week placement takes place over the summer holiday period (approximately November to February)
  • You will work 4 days per week
Available OpportunitiesOpportunity 1: Business / Finance / Commerce / Accounting

Support the development of a financial reporting and analytics suite for use in business operations.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Financial reporting and modelling

This role is ideal for students studying Business, Finance, Commerce or Accounting.

Opportunity 2: Business / Psychology / Behavioural Science / Human Resources

Contribute to workforce capability planning by engaging with stakeholders, co-facilitating workshops, and socialising success profiles.

  • You will develop skills in communications, deepen your understanding of workforce planning and enhance strategic thinking and design skills.

This opportunity is open to students studying Psychology, Business Psychology and Human Resources with an interest in capability planning.

Opportunity 3: Business / Innovation / Creative Intelligence

Support the facilitation and creation of Unitywater's annual Innovation Challenge.

  • Key tasks include:
  • External environment scanning
  • Challenge scope and objectives definition
  • SUCCESS criteria establishment
  • Idea assessment plan development
  • Assessor group coordination
  • Back-end software work

This role is suitable for students studying Business, Innovation Management, Creative Intelligence and Media.

Opportunity 4: Communications / Media / Journalism / Public Relations

Contribute to media and social media planning and creation within the Brand, Communications and Media team.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Drafting and scheduling social media posts
  • Drafting media releases

This opportunity is open to students studying Communications, Media, Journalism and Public Relations.
