Adventure Learning Facilitator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced educator to lead our outdoor programs, working closely with students and staff to create transformative learning experiences.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of our outdoor education program. As an Experiential Educator, you will be responsible for leading outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, and high adventure activities, while ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver experiential learning programs that align with our educational goals and objectives;
- Lead outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, and high adventure activities, in a safe and controlled environment;
- Develop and implement training plans, activity Standard Operating Procedures, and Risk Assessments to ensure the highest level of participant safety;
- Foster a culture of meaningful work, appreciation of land, and celebration of personal and communal growth among staff and students;
- Promote positive relationships with the community and external partners;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current manual driver's license;
- A current Senior First Aid certificate (with current CPR);
- A Blue Card; and
- The ability to perform physically and mentally challenging tasks.
While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:
- A Current Wilderness or Remote First Aid certificate;
- A Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation/Outdoor Leadership; and
- Bush Camping experience.
