Job Overview

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Finance Business Analyst will collaborate with various departments to provide insights on proposed financial investments, initiatives, and business strategies. You will be responsible for overseeing and conducting analyses of the costs and benefits associated with future projects, presenting critical information to assist decision-makers in optimizing operations. Your role will involve gathering and evaluating financial, economic, and operational data from across TOMRA's Collection services systems. Additionally, you will play a key role in shaping the culture, relationships, and reputation of this newly established function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating effectively with essential business partners to achieve objectives while safeguarding the Company's interests.
  • Engaging with internal stakeholders to explore commercial opportunities.
  • Conducting financial and strategic analyses, including the development of financial models and analytics.
  • Leading the comprehensive governance framework for both capital and significant operational expenditures.
  • Performing precise and timely ad-hoc financial and strategic analyses as needed.
  • Contributing to and spearheading elements of strategic business planning.
  • Documenting current and future processes.
  • Facilitating workshops to enhance collaboration.
  • Analyzing and improving business processes.
  • Providing, creating, and presenting financial outcomes to stakeholders and local business units.
  • Engaging in process mapping, data migration, and agile methodologies.
  • Ensuring personal health and safety is prioritized.

Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Background in Finance.
  • Over 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Relevant tertiary degree in Finance.
  • Experience in Finance/Accounting projects.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Previous managerial experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience in Data Migration.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong data analysis capabilities.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting.
  • Proficient in extracting and manipulating data using SQL and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of R/Python is a plus but not required.
  • Strong reporting skills, including visualization, dashboard creation, and storytelling.
