About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Consultant to join our team at Verizon. As a Pricing Consultant, you will play a key role in driving our pricing strategy across the organization and ensuring that we deliver an unmatched customer experience at an efficient price.
Key Responsibilities- Pricing Analysis: Perform detailed pricing analysis to deliver a recommended 'price-to-win' (PTW) analysis based on competitive research, published competitor pricing, prior wins and losses, and market trends.
- Rate Requests and Business Cases: Prepare rate requests/business cases, including a demand model based on PTW, and current and future demand for services and operational support requirements.
- Customer Pricing: Create customer pricing for complex proposals, based on customer compliance instructions and contract structure.
- Financial Briefings: Craft and present detailed financial briefings for internal teams and executive management, including discussion of request-for-proposal pricing requirements and evaluation criteria, competitive analysis, pricing strategies, and key financial metrics.
- Pricing Communication: Effectively communicate pricing and any custom terms and conditions to internal partners and customers.
- Business Case Accuracy: Work closely with key partners to ensure business case accuracy and competitiveness.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Experience: Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Skills: Strong experience in Advanced Microsoft Excel and Financial Modelling.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Skills: Advanced economics, finance, and accounting skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to use advanced expertise to resolve diverse/complex problems.
- Decision-Making: Ability to make sound business decisions quickly.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Verizon's products/services and value proposition; solid understanding of the commercial, financial, and technical aspects of the industry.
- Contract Management: Strong contract management and negotiation skills.
- Government Contracting: Experience with government contracting processes.
