About The Opportunity

We seek an experienced Senior Human Resources Advisor to join our Human Resources Team as a strategic partner. This role involves supporting Property Services and Facility Management business units during a period of growth.

In this permanent, full-time position, you will provide HR support to office and site-based teams across Melbourne locations, while also contributing to national operations.

You will leverage your expertise in employee and industrial relations (ER and IR) to make a meaningful impact by partnering with leaders, coaching teams, and building strong, successful partnerships as a trusted advisor.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Serving as the first point of contact for HR inquiries, guiding managers and employees on HR policies and best practices
  • Partnering with leaders to deliver strategic HR solutions, enhancing team performance and engagement
  • Managing ER and IR matters, ensuring fair and compliant resolutions
  • Overseeing recruitment processes, supporting seamless onboarding of new talent
  • Driving performance management, facilitating feedback and growth-focused development
  • Championing employee engagement initiatives to build a positive workplace culture
  • Providing data-driven insights to support workforce planning and retention strategies
  • Supporting change management by advising on HR impacts and enabling smooth transitions

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a skilled HR generalist with exposure and experience in various facets of HR. We are seeking someone with a strong ER and IR background, able to manage day-to-day HR tasks and navigate complex industrial environments.

You will possess excellent communication skills, stakeholder engagement abilities, and a proactive approach to relationship management. Additionally, you should have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Industrial Relations, or equivalent experience
  • Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement ability
  • Proactive approach to relationship management
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum
